WEkEO 4 Climate Change 2025Jun. 10th 10:00 CEST
WEkEO is the EU Copernicus DIAS reference service for environmental data, virtual processing environments and skilled user support. A platform for all audiences.
WEkEO is proud to introduce a new integrated solution to interact with its extensive portfolio of environmental datasets: the Earthkit WEkEO plugin. By integrating the WEkEO Harmonized Data Access (HDA) into the Earthkit package, users can now directly access and manipulate WEkEO data through Earthkit, an open-source Python interface designed by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) to facilitate access to weather and climate science data and streamline workflows.
As demand for accessible, high-quality environmental data continues to grow, WEkEO is raising the bar to empower users at every stage of their journey. This season, the platform is unveiling an ambitious training programme designed to give participants the knowledge and tools to make the most of Copernicus Earth Observation data.
On 24 and 26 March, WEkEO opened its virtual doors to host the WEkEO 4 Atmosphere Monitoring workshop. The event was a resounding success: with 1465 participants from 119 countries, the workshop brought together a truly global community of atmospheric science experts, emerging researchers and enthusiasts, signalling widespread interest in the tools provided by WEkEO to access and manipulate atmospheric data.
WEkEO is proud to present its new website, designed to improve user experience and provide quick and easy access to its extensive portfolio of services. The revamped website comes with a fresh interface and visual identity as well as brand-new features.
